Introducing Crowdfund Swansea / Cyflwyno Cyllido Torfol Abertawe

Posted on behalf of Spacehive
Join local funders, community groups and organisations alongside representatives from Swansea Council for the launch of Crowdfund Swansea, the city's exciting new crowdfunding initiative. Learn about the programme and how you can get involved, from promoting campaigns, pledging to your favourite ideas and even creating a project of your own.

Created by Swansea Council in partnership with crowdfunding platform Spacehive, Crowdfund Swansea gives local people the opportunity to create and fund projects to help make Swansea even better for those who live, work and study here. Swansea Council has created a Crowdfund Swansea Fund of £75,000 available for crowdfunding projects to pitch for pledges of up to £5,000 to support their campaign.

Crowdfunding is a creative and collaborative way to bring local ideas to life. Crowdfund Swansea will enable everyone to create their own crowdfunding project and back the ideas they love. From community gardens and street murals to festivals and sports facilities, if you want to enhance your neighbourhood or simply bring people together then this is the programme for you.

Launching on Wednesday 30th October at 5:30pm, we welcome you to join us at the Swansea Civic Centre to find out what Crowdfund Swansea has to offer and how you can help amplify the initiative's impact across the city. Click the green Register button to secure your spot.
